Once I got most of the water out, I pressure washed the entire basement and then shop-vaced some more.. Fun stuff!!

Funny story, I went to Harbor Freight to get an electric pressure washer... They didn't have any, so I went to Lowes.. I asked on of the workers where they would be located and he informed me they don't carry that kind of stuff!!..... I walked through the store shaking my head..... They were in isle 22..

Isle 22? That's Chad Reed's isle. You guys got hit with those storms too huh? Yeah there were like 70+ MPH winds. Luckily they must not have been that strong over the club or there would have been a lot more trees down. Man, I feel for you on that basement. Luckily when mine started getting wet I got the problem solved with tile and a pump. I think you might just have to fill your basement in and write it off the way it sounds.

P.S. Why don't you drop a sump pit "inside" your basement in addition to the ones you have outside? I would think that would prevent you from getting standing water like you're getting.

I have one sump pit inside the basement, but the morons that built the house, put it in the highest point.. There's no way to squegee(SP?) the water to the sump pit, unless I knock out the decorative blocks that split the rooms..

I would like to put another sump pit in, on the other end of house, but, I can hear the ground water flowing under where I want to put it.... I'm pretty sure if I cut a hole in the floor, water will shoot out like a cannon..

I just need it to stop raining for a couple of weeks, to let the ground water go down a bit.

PLEASE STOP THE RAINING!!

Oh yea, I pressure washed the basement to get rid of the black mold, that's starting.. Most of it came up, but there's still more.... Think I should try bleach, or something else?

We havent had rain in way over a month and with temps averaging 102+ are in a bad draught. And its not even July, August & September; those are the hot months.

The smell is only in the basement... Then I turned on the central air.. Holy fuck, I could only take the smell for two days.. Shut that prick back down!! NASTY!!

French Drain is the only way to fix it right...

Shitty video, but you'll get the idea... Find a local contractor that installs them. You could drain to your sump without relocating it too....
