Manny and team agreed to all of Floyd's demands to make the fight happen. 60/40 split (MoneyMay gets the 60 of course), Floyd picks the gloves and glove weight, blood testing the day before the fight, Floyd picks the date, Manny will walk out first, etc.. Manny signed the contract and is just waiting for Floyd to sign. This would be the biggest fight ever. Floyd has no reason now not to fight.

Holy crap. . . I think Mayweather wins, but Pacquiao won't be any walk in the park for Mayweather. . . I'd pay for that fight.

I'm still gonna watch if it happens. But I definitely think the moment has passed a little bit. Wish the fight would have happened a few years ago. I don't feel that either one of them are still in their "prime."

I agree, should have happened in 08. Floyd has come up with an excuse each time, or had some crazy demands that always derailed the fight.

Maywether is already telling Pacquiao not to make demands on the date for his team to sign the contract saying Pacquiao is not the boss...

Mayweather has already set the date for his next fight so maybe it's because everything is already in motion? May 2nd should be plenty of time to get ready.

I don't even care anymore. I'm not going to pay to see it and that means I probably never will see it. There was a time I would have. Their time for this fight has passed as far as I am concerned. I doubt I'm the only one that feels that way.

Showtime and HBO need to come to an agreement as well. He will be fighting on the 2nd, but it might nog be the fight we want.

I won't believe it's happening until it's officially a done deal.

This fight should have happened years ago, now its just two older fighters trying to cash in.

Not quite. They have both proven that they are still at the top of their game, especially Floyd.

I somewhat agree. But don't yoh think that with the growing popularity of mma that the talent isn't there like it use to be? I don't e
Think either would still be on top 20 or 25 years ago.

This is like Hollyfield vs Tyson, about 6 years too late, at least with them they were heavyweights and boxing still mattered also Marquez made this fight pretty much irrelevant.
