I have a dream of racing Pikes Peak International Hill Climb next year on a bike which is why I bought the new 1290. But doing it in a car looks like it could be fun too:

We were there messing around a month ago today. He must have just filmed that not too long before we rode up it. You can see the black marks on the road:

We wondered where all the black marks came from. Now we know. smile I have another video where you can see the doughnut marks from the opening scene.

I wonder how many tires he went through just getting to the top.

Don't get distracted Void! laughing You got the leathers, left/right turn experience, and more importantly the bike made for that hill!

Ha! Was out practicing a bit this weekend and starting to get pretty comfortable on the bike. Got 1300 miles of pretty hard riding on it since I picked it up last weekend. Taking it in Wednesday for its 600 mile service. smile I'm going to have to find a little more power though. Hate to do it but looks like I'm going to have to spend the $2500 on the Akro. sad Can't wait to get it on the track in a couple of weeks!

That dude is insane. It would be fun enough just getting to get a detailed look at that "Mustang".

Dude can definitely drive, Like to see the uncut version aswell.
Think I was checking out the scenery as much as I was watching the driving.

Where the Orange barrels are along the open knee high wall is where folks like to try and take the shortcut down. They ride their brakes so much coming down they overheat.
Hence the dude with the Heat tracker, he'll park ya if your wheels are too hot.

Cool Vid!

There was nobody in that shack the day we went up.

Really? Wow. And you went up during summer months when it's busiest, must have been taking a piss break with no back up.

Well, he may have just not gotten there yet. I was the first one to the top of the mountain (except for the store workers which got a significant head start and were just climbing out of their van when I got there).

The Boat is more or less an engine carrier (Trailer) ..LMFAO
That Old timey Truck looks great but better if it was a truck (Raised to normal) with the Twin T.

Always liked the old truck look with hidden featureswink smile

Yeah, I don't know why the price is so astronomical. Maybe they charge double because it's a KTM. Already had to pay double for the bike. smile
