Not a double standard if the guy approved the skit (and let's face it, it's a skit). How many of Matt Lauer's accusers were accosted on live television? It's not the women who voluntarily entered into relationships with Lauer that are filing complaints...

I am starting to wonder if I am going to get a call from some chick whose ass I grabbed back in 7th grade, which we all did, all of the time. It was a big thing in our school. We'd be put in jail for the stuff we did in school back in the late 70s, early 80s.
'Course we had a smoking court back then and I got a box of Playboys as a class prize in 12th grade for a project (everybody had to bring in a prize and someone brought in some Playboys and the teacher let me take it home).
I don't think anybody was scarred from the experience.

America used to be different. When I was in elementary school in Virginia the lady next to the school would take potshots at the kids with her shotgun (loaded with rock salt) if you walked down her road. I remember a kid showing me where she got him in the face. He was the mayor's son. Nobody in town said shit except "don't walk down that road." We were in freaking third grade.

Judging by those examples the "different" America was not a "better" America. Unless of course the preference is:
Boys grabbing your daughters' asses at will
School-sanctioned smoking
School-sanctioned distribution of pornography
Random application of firearms w/o repercussion

If distancing from those experiences is an example of the "pussification" of America, then "meow"...

I am curious if any of the men who were slept with by women working their way up the ladder of success will be coming forward to tell there stories of being used?

There is a huge difference between actual assault and a lot of what is being pushed as news stories. Much of this cheapens those who really have been hurt. If you remain friendly and cordial for yeasr with someone who "assaulted you" as an adult I have a hard time taking you seriously. Makes you think there might be some type of media agenda here?...............

It is very easy for me to see this from MY point of view. The truth is I can not see from the victims POV and therefore can not give accurate comment. I argued with a pilot one time when he refused to fly a T-37 because the EGT was too high. From his left seat looking at the needle it appeared over the limit. From my right seat it appeared under. He then schooled me. This situation is called a parallax. Things can appear different based on POV and since it was his ass on the line it was his POV that took precedence...end of argument.

give me a break. obviously some are worse than others, but the double standards are fucking ridiculous. i am willing to bet that more cases are some greedy women wanting their take.
