Ok we all know the top contenders Day, Speith, Scott.... will Lefty have a magical week will Rory keep it in the fairways?

Or will someone like a Kevin Na shock the world.
Sang-moon Bae not playing this year due to military service.... that's gotta hurt, and thanks for your service Mr Sang-moon.

So the field is set Thursday at 7am edt can't get here soon enough.

For the record I'll pick my horse Wed afternoon, and it won't be the par 3 champion.

I'm on board the Speith train. I'm all for the young guys though.

hoping Rickie can finally put it all together, he's been so close so many times.

Dustin Johnson also is having a great "come-back"

Would love to see Rickie win it, but I think Jason Day takes it.

I got two practice tickets for Tuesday. I plan on following J Day and Rickie as much as I can. Its fun just hanging out and watching different players at the driving range.

Did the same at the PGA Championship at Whistling Straights ... an old fried of mine told me the PGA tour golfers are "Witches with Sticks" ... couldn't agree more.

I went yesterday to the practice round. It was my first time there and the added bonus was I had passes to Berckman's Place. All I can say about that place was WOW!!!!

As if Berckman's Place wasn't cool enough on its own, I had the pleasure of meeting and talking to Condoleezza Rice for about 5 minutes while inside.

You win.

Did you ask Condoleezza if she was running in 2020?

I'm so jealous. My boss has also been fortunate enough to go to Berckman's Place and said it was amazing.

My work station today and tomorrow:

I picked Jason Day, as well. Hard to rule Spieth out, though. I always pull for Fowler, although he's been really inconsistent at The Masters.

Fowler just put up a triple bogey on 13, sits +4 Blink Come on man!!!

Speith on the other hand is already 4 under. Killing it.

Supposed to get super windy later this afternoon and thats gonna cause havoc on this course.

The wheels have officially fallen off the Rickie wagon. The ghost of Bobby Jones must have hexed him for the ugly joggers and high tops.

And poor Ernie Els had a 7-PUTT for a record score of 10 on the first hole.

I've been there, and yes, it looks fake. Actually, a better word would be "surreal". From the minute you step onto the grounds everything is perfect (especially early in the week). Not a blade of grass out of place. It's like nothing I've ever seen. They do all kinds of crazy stuff to make the place look that good. I heard that the ground crews have been icing the azaleas the last few weeks to keep them from blooming early so they'd be at peak this week.

I remember sitting on the 15th one year back in the late 80's and John Daly comes walking down the fairway with a cigarette hanging in his mouth. He hits his approach shot and starts walking by the pond fronting the 15th green where he proceeds to flick his cigarette butt. I swear, you could hear an audible gasp from the crowd when he did that!

Its a truly gorgeous place and I highly recommend anyone going if they ever get the chance.

that Daly story is awesome and i don't doubt it's authenticity for one second.

i remember a couple years ago Rickie got in deep shit for wearing his hat backwards to start an interview. dude basically told him to put his hat on straight or the interview was over.

while Augusta and the Masters is an amazing event, it's amazing how old-school they left it while moving along with the times on the other tourneys (WGC, etc)

the sport of professional golf is in good hands with Spieth, Day, Fowler and all the other younger generation.

Yes the Azalea story is true, one restroom was basicslly destroyed during that storm that took out the Eisenhower tree. They had a construction crew work through the night and the paint was barely dry when the patrons started filtering onto the grounds.
You couldn't tell anything was a miss.

They don't let that place skip a beat.

Here's a killer, someone I know has a friend who has 4 VIP tickets fot the whole weekend and he says he won't go unless someone will go with him. I'm not kidding dude lives 25min from Augusta!
I'm 1100miles away or no one would see me for the next 3 days!

Definitely sucks that the live coverage didn't include Speith.
I watched Spieth yesterday on the Masters website.

Tom Watson Standing ovation every Tee box and Green, That would make it hard to play, That has to be very emotional for him.

But Rory and Spieth in the final group should be good stuff.

Also pretty amazing about the amateur DeChambeau. If it wasn't for his triple bogey on 18 then he would be in the final group. Hopefully he can put it together this weekend and make another run.

Even though I picked Spieth I'm glad he backed up to the field to make the weekend more interesting rather than a walk away.
The DeChambeau story is a pretty good one I see him making a run at it. Good Stuff!
