I just want to share this with all of you guys on vital. I think it's awesome to see people come together for the greater good. If this is successful then it shows that the internet can be used for uniting nations and slowly bring
ing peace to the world. Check it out it really is worth your time.
Thanks for posting that.

1. You will always find things to criticize if you look closely enough with ANY organization. The criticisms brought up are opinions of how to do something, not against the why. If every time someone tries to do something good he gets shot down by those sitting on their asses not doing anything, nothing will ever change.
2. When was the last time you made a promise to a stranger to help him out of a seemingly impossible situation and dedicated the next 9 YEARS of your life to keeping that promise? I don't care about the details, any guy who keeps such a promise for 9 years is admirable in my book and I'll stand behind him.
It is blowing up over here.
Stole this, and am backing it 100%:
"No denying that everyone wants to stop KONY. lots of debate about whether or not kony2012 campaign is the right way to go about it but i know we all want the same result in the end. I believe it is human nature to want to 'help people in need' and that makes me proud, so whether 'this' particular cause is the one you want to support or not,use this 'movement' to help yourself find the charity YOU believe in and want to help make a difference in. Is it 'The Leukaemia Foundation' ? is it 'Breast cancer awareness' ? is it 'the royal flying doctor service'? do you want to 'sponsor a child' ? do you want to support 'the sunrise childrens villages' or "the fred hollows foundation' 'the Invisible Children' 'the floods throughout Australia' or do you want to organise a local event to raise money for someone you know who is in need? The main message we need to take from this 'movement' is that we can all make a difference to this world and make it a better place. Every little bit counts"
Some people should just stick to what their good at, which is watching Dr. Phil all day.

says here only 32% of donations make it past management's pockets. So donating may do some good, but donating elsewhere will do more good.

This is a brilliant Social Media PR campaign by Invisible Children.
They are going to make a ton of money because average americans like to think they forwarded an e-mail or clicked a button for $30 and saved the world.
Raising awareness is one thing but what they are doing with the donations is stealing.
If someone gives me $1,000 to give to someone that needs help and I keep $700+ expenses for myself that's not altruism.....that's theft.
