All companies are doing this now. Every phone app you have collects data and sells it on the open market. Your credit card, shopper cards, gps, Facebook, and anything else that collects info sells it. The organization I work for buys it all, and we collect our own data.

The IRS isn't being sneaky, they are just finally getting on the band wagon.
