Out here in New England it was a pretty shitty one. Still got some amazing days in but not much powder. Still debating on going out to Colorado for a couple days or just putting it away and moving on to moto for the year. Here’s some cool pics and vids from this year that I got!

I live along mid Lake Michigan so we usually get a good amount of lake effect but it’s getting less every year. We had a couple weeks where we got a couple feet. And a handful of 4-6” days, but it seems like less. I have a few big dunes that I haven’t been able to ride from lack of snow for years now.

Last weekend it was 80 in Pa. next day it was snowing in WV. My 10 day weather on my phone shows 4 of 10 days snow in Wi. 37 now just outside of Memphis. Chicago and Indiana had a 3 day storm other than that it was a easy winter.

I’m gonna make it out to Telluride next for sure I know someone who lives there. I have an epic pass because they bought my home mountain, and they have basically ruined the place. Same deal in Colorado?

Got a couple good rides in up in the UP MI this winter. We had snow on the ground here all winter, but never more than a few inches. Never did get a big storm. I am waaaay ready for winter to be over..

Winter has re-emerged in the UP this past week and they are expecting a huge storm mid week.

Some pics from this winter..

Snow season , ongoing since November 1,2021. Approximately 3’ dry snow (Alberta). Almost always -7c to -25c. Couple days -40c. Long winter, and it’s not over. Approx 3 more weeks until spring. Here latest pic from Saturday March 26.

Here in midwest MN we got more snow than we have had in years, was great for snowmobiling. Also, we needed it after the dry summer we had.

recently it has warmed up a lot which has melted most of our snow.. It was close to 50° F the other day, now its back down to 10 to 30..

the kids are ready for spring!

Woke up to it spitting snow down here in the valley this morning, not enough to actually stick though. We've had some light dusting in the hills the last several days as well.

We had a our area's all time record for snow in a single day this winter, but other than that it was very, very mild. But the snow that we did have is persisting up on the forest roads and trails so they haven't opened up most of the trails for bikes yet.

I believe that this will be the last weekend that our ski hill, Mission Ridge, is open. Probably wouldn't have been able to stay open this long without the man made base that they are able to make early in the year.
