I know it's going to get some flak but a serious question
There is a lot of research saying that concussions and brain injuries can really screw with your hormones. With racing moto obviously concussions are common. So I'm curious of what route some of you go and what you recommend.

At age 27 before TRT blood work said my t level was low 200. I went to a specialist and got the pellets. Takes about 2 weeks to notice anything but wow huge difference.

Shouldn't get flak. Whatever health cards you're dealt in life is what you're dealt. Not up to you. Good on you for doing something about it though! It's fucked up how much hormones can wreck you though, I know a few people who are on various therapies just to stay normal physically and it's not always a good time.

I broke a few bones the last couple years probably easier than I thought I should, got tested for various things but all came back ok, well except cholesterol but that's fixed now too... I guess you just gotta keep monitoring your levels and do it properly.

You listen to Rogan at all? When Joey Diaz is giving him shit about it haha, not serious but the way he phrases it is hilarious.

totally get where you are coming from man. there is too much stigma still associated with anything that isn't considered macho. that's so awesome that you found a fix for something that wasn't 100% I'm 31 but still curious about what my body is really doing. it just sucks how insurance gets whenever its something preventive

I'm 48 and have numbers where they should be, but have every advertised sign of low or at least lower T, except I have good muscle tone. Maybe it's all in my head, I don't know. When I see my doc in March for my annual I plan on asking about trt.

Idaho, when you say "huge difference" what you mean exactly?

When it comes to trt I would consider a specialist. The range for normal is absolutely massive. For my age range the numbers published are 200-900. But then when you start looking at real average number of people the average for my age (27) was around 1000. After my pellets I tested at 1120

As far as the huge difference. Energy levels were much higher. Sleep greatly improved and muscle tone got much better after a couple months. And it helped my moods also.

The way my insurance did it didn't make any sense. They covered the visit and the blood tests both before and after but they wouldn't cover the actual treatment.

My insurance did the same thing. Won’t cover the injections but covered the visits and tests. Are you still on it? I’m 6 months in and getting horrible arm pump this year

Mine is the same way. Pays massive bill for the blood tests, but not the treatment. Doesn't make sense?
