That should make some waves... RP's days of being a Republican are probably over.

Like his old man, I agree with about 50% of what comes out of his mouth. Unfortunately, that's more than I agree with any other candidate on either side at this point.

I guess he knew better than to go on Fox News and say that.. It would have never made it to air.

Republican primary debates should be entertaining as usual. Wonder if Fox News will edit all of Rand Paul's answers off of the "live" broadcast like they always did his dad's.

Part of me wonders what would be happening now if Ron Paul had got the nomination instead of old magic trousers. Half of me thinks he would have got people to realise what really goes on, but the realist in me says that he would already be the victim of a lone gunman.

Well, I think the jist of it is that when a country intervenes in the middle east, that country stirs up a hornets nest. So, you better be damn sure what your doing because the region is FULL of people who want to make war.

Is MSNBC reporting on the Hillary scandals? Honestly?

That is freaking awesome! Finally someone has the balls to say it! But he should have included the arming og the other rebel groups too. The only moderate side in Syria is the government

Need to get the Arizona peeps onboard with trashing John McCain out next year and get someone in that doesnt get his rocks off arming the middle east for his buddies to sell weapons and supplies.
As much as a president has to do with all of this, the congressmen who sell it are far worse. John Boehner needs removing, McConnel, the list is very long, on both sides of the aisle.

I liked McCain is 2000 but I was misguided I guess. In 2008 I voted 3rd party because I couldn't pull the lever for him, or surely not Obummer.
He is one of about 50 multi-term Senators that needs to go.

Who knows?

I don't trust MSNBC just like I don't trust Fox News. You might as well watch South Park for current events.

They are both the exact same.. Spin City.

Isis exists because there are power hungry religious fanatics with plenty of sociopaths/psychopaths willing to do the dirty work for them. It isn't anybody's fault that they exist. The most direct effect on their rise to power is our complete withdrawal from Iraq. But even without that, they would have popped up in Syria or any one of the "Arab spring" nations.

The closer we get to an election the more we should ignore the bullshit that comes out of candidates mouths.

I will say though that groups like Al-Qaeda, and Isis now, have included the US as an enemy because of our presence in the middle east. It started with our alliance with Israel and the Gulf War. We also meddled with their government in Iran. Our involvement in Middle East affairs, meddling, goes way back. But, the existence of Isis cannot be pinned on Bush or Obama unless you believe that history started when you became interested.

We are less than 200 years removed from the last caliphate. Why is anyone surprised? That caliphate lasted in to the early 1900's before being broken apart. Hitler was responsible for the regeneration of militant islam giving the muslim brotherhood the nazi blessing and protection and direct orders to exterminate the jewish population from north africa and the mediterrainian peninsula. ISIS isnt new. The name is. The game is the same as it was 1500 years ago.

Weird. I thought the Obama administration started the Iraq and Afghan wars.

Huffington Post? Why don't we just start posting links to the National Enquirer, or Star, or Us Weekly. You know the Chupacabra existed, right?Dry

Rand is only trying to resurrect his political career since he has been so wavering on everything. Do we really care about Dem or Repub, Conserv or Lib? Aren't we moving past this yet? Grow up.

I was unaware that the USA single-handedly created ISIS. I find that surprising.

Even more surprising is how many people on a dirt bike forum already knew it. And are happy to see it being stated publicly.

I find it funny the ones that think this is all because of the last 20 years. Go learn some history

I believe the general consensus among posters in this thread is that the USA did NOT singlehandedly "create" Isis.

While the US may have added fuel to the fire, there are other historical and cultural factors at work here. Honestly, I believe all of the posters above have a pretty good handle on that.

History is available to all that know how and where to look.. Even us dumb ole dirt bikers.
