While I havent read 10% of whats been posted in the past few weeks I think its cool to see so much participation. It wasnt long ago you could come here and see but a few new post per day. Now you leave for a few hours and the post you were following is on page 2

What I dont get however is if Im retired and have all the time in the World and yet I can only read 10% of the post, then how do all the guys on here that are employed find the time to type these long opinions on many various strings? I think somebodys boss is taking it up the ass. (monetarily) Smile

Just so you know, Dougie, I have 2 PCs that I work on here, one is connected to the net. The other one just does CAD/CAM stuff.

Both are about the equivelent of a well used Commodore 64, so while one is crunching numbers, I get on this one and stir shit up...uh, I mean contribute to discussions.

Participation is great if it is productive, but the discussions lately have just been slam, after slam, after slam and it seems that most of the peoople posting in those threads have their minds made up, one way or another, and are't going to change their minds. I can understand "real" inquiries, but that's not what we are getting.

That's just MHO.
