Crap result for the Lions.

But there were eleven Lions debutants and few, if any, will be selected for the first test with the All Blacks. That's the only consolation I can think of at the moment...

i think this team played better than the starters did on Saturday night, most of team they played went back to work Monday,

its not going to get any easier this weekend, with the Crusaders having being the best of the Super rugby teams this year, and with all there all blacks still, could get nasty,

Spoke to soon? Lol that loss to the Blues was unexpected. Didn't get to watch the game so can't comment on their performance, but lets hope Gats has a surprise in store for the first Test.

I was really disappointed with the way Wales played during the Six Nations, but the lions look to be a pretty solid squad so fingers crossed they can make something happen next Saturday.

You got tickets to any of the tests yourself, Scott? If I ever have the funds to follow the Lions on tour, then New Zealand would be the best destination to witness it!

Roll on the match tomorrow, makes it a little bit more interesting! (I still think you'll give us a thumping)

no pics sorry, atmosphere was good for a raining night, , the lions forwards dominated, thought the yellow card and penalty try were on the soft side, but it did not make the difference,

1st test should be awesome, the all blacks looked good against Samoa,

well the mid week dirt track boys finally got the win, they played great, and the chiefs looked like they were short 10 top line players,

the 1st test should be awesome on saturday,

Awesome match last night , all blacks too good but the lions are not far off

The lions fans would have been 40 percent of the crowd and were great, awesome to be at the game

The ABs were sensational as always, but I thought the Lions were poor for most of the game They seemed to drop the ball everytime they were able to mount an attack, Alun Wyn Jones looked absolutely knackered ten minutes into the game and shouldn't have started IMO.

There was a stat shown during the game to suggest the ABs' had something like 73% posession in the second half!
I couldn't watch any more after Ioane scored his second try and turned it off. That's something I very rarely do, if ever!

i thought the Lions were competitive, and if they could convert a few more chances it could have been close,

your right about Jones, he was tired very early on, and he was not alone, i thought the All Blacks would go on in the last 20 when the reserves come on, but it happened even earlier, not sure what the Lions can do to solve that issue for next week,

I would change the game plan of sending up so many box kicks to start with, I'm not sure the Lions caught any of them but they kept persisting with it. All it did was allow the ABs to attack them all over again.

Didn't get to watch it live but saw the scoreline. Supposed can't be surprised we lost, but with the margin it's pretty laughable. Gats needs to change his gameplan if we're even going to stand any kind of chance.... It'll be pretty embarrassing if it's a whitewash.

Why weren't George North or Dan Biggar selected that's what baffled me. Liam Williams ahead of Leigh Halfpenny as well?! Didn't Liam concede a try for the All Blacks too?

good game last night, thought the Lions were going to walk away with it early, but cool to see the Hurricanes fight back for the draw,

i hate french refs at the best of times, but he was consistent and thats all you can ask, but the TMO needs to stay out of so much stuff i reckon, both yellow cards would not have been a few years ago, and the penalty for the neck role late against the hurricanes was very soft,

i think if the Lions will win a test it will be this weekend, the forcast is for rain and high winds, (and its wellignton, it will blow like fuck) if they lions forwards can shut down the AB's forwards like the did against canterbury, then they have a shot,

Read that George North is injured and on his way back home now .Absolutely gutted. World class winger that would have brought a lot to the game. I'm sensing a white-wash is coming our way personally.

on the Sonny Bill sending off, completely agree with it, and the suspension, reckless, and he got what he deserved,

i think that Vunipola was lucky not to get the same tho, can't believe he did not get sited but O'Brian did, who rightfully got off, it was a penalty max i think,

well i would to loved to have money on a drawn final test and series,

the last ref's call was unusual but that did not cost the game, the All Blacks made too many mistakes and did not finish well enough to deserve to win,

well done to the Lions, they started poorly but Gatland had a plan, stuck to it, and nearly did the impossible, i am pretty sure he will be the next all blacks coach,

The Lions supporters were awesome again, i remember them in 2005 as well, we need to learn how to chant, its embarrassing that they can make eden park sound like a lions home ground,
