Help! What PS4 MX video Game should I buy my kid

Doing some last minute shopping for my kid and I want to know what MX game for PS4 is the "Best" to get him for his B-day. Thanks for the input!

No idea how old your kid will be but that can affect which game to get in my opinion.

Monster Energy Supercross just came out but it gets pretty repetitive and not to mention it still has a bunch of issues that need to be fixed.

I haven't played the MXGP games but it sounds like MXGP 2 and MXGP 3 are pretty evenly split in terms of what people like best.

At the end of the month MX vs ATV All Out will be coming out. It's more of an arcade type game but it will offer more in terms of re-playability. You'll get to ride/race motocross, supercross, open world, etc. There's more vehicles to choose from so you can switch things up if you get tired of ripping around on bikes.

Whatever you do don't get MX vs ATV Supercross/Encore. Very disappointing game and the worse one in the franchise.

Good Point. He is going to be turning 15. Pretty much anything goes with the games except for the super sexually explicit stuff.

Too bad that one is coming out at the end of the month!

I may have to ask him if he would rather wait.... or who knows If I get him one game he may be ready to trade it in to game stop by the end of the month anyway!

Will stay away from the encore one.

He would have to put in work for about 4 days to make a slow lap on mxsim. I loved gp3 and was really good at it, but after playing new sx game, gp3 has very weird bike handling like your a boat on water. New sx game or the new mx vs atv game coming out would be my bet. He can buy mxsim when he gets bored of sx/MxvsAtv in a month
