I don't do mixed drinks very often but when I do it's usually a bloody mary. Maybe 3 or 4 a year if I have a monster hangover. Straight tequila is my normal poison. About 1/2 a shot in the evening while I'm fixing dinner. I have friends who like rum and coke. I'm just not a fan of sweet drinks.
Since I work night shift I'm allowed to drink at any time of the day.
There is this magical shot known as a breakfast shot that changed my life. I think it's technically called an Irish breakfast. You take a shot that is Jameson mixed with butter scotch schnapps, then a shot of orange juice and finish it off with a piece of bacon. It tastes like pancakes then you get OJ and bacon. Win win

I mix Baileys salted caramel with apple vodka.
I never developed a taste for alcohol but I can drink that one. Now for all you jokers who think it sounds like a chicks drink , you are right and I can live with the shame.
Out a the Local Tex-Mex joint, It's one of their killer El Presidente margaritas. think BIG Goblet like they used to user for Sundays at the Ice cream parlor!
If I do one of those, I'm the designated drunk & the wife drives home
If I ever do drink it's usually a spiced rum and coke . Back in my younger days it was usually vodka and red bull and if I really cranked it up ,it was Jack and coke .
During the summer I've started using this for vodka tonics. The cucumber taste is really, really light but on a 90+ day, it's just a perfect addition for real refreshment.
I have four types of drinks I like. I rarely ever deviate. Can't really handle the hard core stuff.
1. Tampico Juice with Svedka Flavored Vodka. You can mix and match to get great summer drink flavors. Can easily have 4-8 of these by the pool during a hot day!
In the evenings and during winter time I will drink Port Wines. In the states it's considered a desert wine, but in Europe these are every day wines you drink. I don't like wines in general and I don't like overly sweet wines and for me Port's have the right flavor. I like the Presidential Tawny port wine because it's price. If I want to kick it up a notch I will buy 10-40 year aged ports but they are pricey.
3. Corona beer ocassionally. Will sometimes drink other beers.
4. Margaritas. I'm always down for one at a Mexican restaurant.
Others: Moscow Mule, Any kind of Irish creme with a little milk.

#1 Brandy Old Fashion - after about 4-5 they get too sweet. But usually my go to if we are just out for a bit.
#2 Fresh Squeezed Vodka Lemonade, usually with Tito's Vodka
#3 Whisky on the rocks
Special Occasions:
Hennessy Paradis
Grand Marnier 100 or 150
Guilty pleasure? The Bushwacker, of course. Noted favorite along the Florida Panhandle. They have a friggin festival in P-cola, fer cryin' out loud! Black rum (one-fiddy-one?), cream de cocoa, Kahlua, little cream de coconut, vanilla ice cream (or cruise over to Wendy's and load-up on frosty's).
Sure, you're rockin' somewhere north of 450 calories, but it's guilty pleasures, right? Hit up Schooners in PCB for the one of the best.

On hotter lazier days I'll have a lime margarita. Highball glass, on the rocks. Made with fresh squeezed limes, triple sec and agave syrup.
