Epic line up - any Silverbacks on Vital there that weekend? What was it like? I woulda been 15 years old and fat chance I coulda got the green light from the parents to go.
I remember that show but I didn't go. I was 12 at the time and had only been to one concert.
Funny to see how some of the bands have risen and fallen since then. Missing Persons got a higher billing than U2?
I would never have guessed that The Divinyls were around back then.

Dale Bozzio half naked gets top billing in my book - music not so much.

What an awesome lineup, never heard of English Beat, Triumph, Missing persons or Little Steven though?
The Beat is a ska band that peaked about ‘83. Mirror in the Bathroom is worth a listen and coincidentally if COVID never happened they woulda been on the West Coast swing of a tour this month.
Was that the order of the bands? Same as on the poster?
You’d think Motley Crue would lead with Van Halen closing. Or Maybe everyone’s so plastered after about 6 bands, the top bands would rather get in / get out.

There's no superstar/bigger than life bands today. Watching videos of early Metallica, Aerosmith, etc. rocking out to 50k plus fans is awesome.
I need a time machine.
