Getting married; any cool men's wedding band suggestions?

Edited Date/Time 6/26/2019 6:58pm
Well boys, I'm taking the plunge and getting married this August. Been with this gal for over 5yrs. She puts up with my crap, doesn't question why I have way too many dirt bikes in the garage, and she's even pretty dang good at fantasy supercross! So over a year ago I finally put a ring on it. Like every other aspect of our upcoming wedding, she reminded me of something tonight. "Pick out your wedding band; I'll get you whatever you want"

Would love to see some cool ideas! Keep the "whatever you want" comment within reason Wink I definitely want something darker, maybe like a gunmetal? I know tungsten steel is popular for mens rings. Would love to see something "gear head" inspired. If not, just some cool ideas in general

Things are great now but wait until..................................................
Ahhh fuck it. Go for it. I was actually happy when I was married. I have a list a foot long of things I regret. Getting married is not one of them.

Three rings of marriage: The engagement ring, the wedding ring, then the suffering.

Those carbon rings look pretty cool.
Also congratulations!

I started with a tungsten but I couldn't get used to the thickness. I ended up with a rubber one. At a glance they look the same but it's way more comfortable for me. The tungsten served it's purpose in the wedding and I still have it, but I never wear it.

Congrats! I’m more of the old school gold. It took me a while to get used to wearing a ring.

Congrats to you! My wife and I designed and had new wedding rings made for our 25th anniversary from jewelry that we inherited from family. I only wear a basic band daily, but going out I sport the following.

My wife has a ring that I had custom made like these that I got her for our anniversary. She absolutely loves it.

My wedding ring is made of cobalt. The sad thing is it gets worn very little because of my work and riding with it and lifting weights with it tears the crap out of my hand.

Probably 85 to 90 percent of the time I wear a silicon band that flexes and stretches. Doesn’t bother my hand a bit.

I hate jewelry and it took me a long, loooong time to get used to a wedding ring. I knew this would be a problem, so I went with a titanium ring with only a little gold. It weighs almost nothing and I got it one size too large so I can pull it off easily if I need to. (I do not ride with it on my finger, so I need to pull it off from time to time.)

Is anybody else getting the banner ad for engagement rings below this thread? Laughing

I got white Gold- it's pretty cool. My wife lost hers, and she's mad that I won't go out and drop thousands right away on another one. Sheesh- enjoy having your own money in your pocket while you can, and congrats!

Home owners insurance policy. $8 a month covers ladies engagement and wedding bands. Keep receipts. No worries.

As far as the reception: Get an actual band. Not a wedding DJ. We used the castaways out of northeast Ohio and they were phenomenal.

I am renting right now, but I am wondering if my renter's insurance might cover. She lost it in our house somewhere. I think I'll check on that.
I had a Justice of the Peace wedding and then we walked to a nice place and had a nice spicy Bloody Mary and went home. It was no big deal for us, but I do regret my wife didn't get wedding photos. Never too late I guess.

I have a tungsten one. I lose it at least twice each winter when my fingers shrink with the cold weather, but luckily I’ve always found it. After losing it again this year, I decided to put it up before I lost it for good and bought a Qalo ring to wear instead.

you WILL lose half your shit, it's just a matter of time.

In the meantime, spend more on honeymoon and not the wedding.

Just did a quick google search and there is some pretty nice stuff to pick from.
I'd go simple and clean. Congrats

My wife told me i was in charge of my ring , i put a piece of titanium in the lathe and made a basic ring that i knew i would never wear because of work.

We got matching knobbie ring tattoos on our 25th anniversary. (Just had our 30th) We've both been riding dirt bikes since before we were married so we said fuggit and went for it. Laughing It was supposed to be a Dunlop 752. Not perfect but neither are we hahaha

Check out manlybands.com, they have some different styles you don't typically see. I got the "buffalo" back in November for my wedding.

Congrats man.
