On a run down the nolichucky .

It was 15 ft above water in the flotsam.

Still works with vids of the only day the guy used it.

Funny watching him on a fishy floaty get dumped and the vid as it washes on the bottom.

It recorded 2 more vids of the bottom 12 minutes long.

8 miles from where I found it and 3 yrs later.

I will see if my daughter can post his last one.

I will effort finding the guy,you know he'd like that swim with the poles vid

What’s the water level in the Nolichucky? We haven’t had any real rain here in weeks and it’s been hot as balls. Shooting some rapids in TN or NC would be a good change. That’s amazing the GoPro was still working.

This could be the start of a great movie. Either you'd witness a murder on the GoPro or a beautiful woman that you must find...

Too bad it's not a sex tape you could sell to TMZ for a couple hundred grand !!

Like that Cardi B sex tape. (Do Not Watch that. Or Kim Ks fake hair and fat implanted cottage cheese ass without photoshop.
There is not enough alcohol made to make that thing attractive. What's been seen, cannot be unseen.

I've seen a video just like the one you describe. The owner got the camera back and posted the video... maybe even on GoPro's website. I can't remember. It's basically ten seconds of cool kayak action, ten seconds of whitewater and tumbling motion, then a really in-focus, stationary view of an underwater rock. Laughing

I got hooked on these youtube vids awhile back where these two dudes go diving and looking for stuff people have dropped in the water in local lakes/rivers and even the ocean. When they find say a working iPhone, they track down the owner and return it to them. They have even found things like wedding rings and found the owner by the engraving on the inside, pretty wild stuff.

Here is one of the guys i watch the most: https://www.youtube.com/user/DALLMYD

^^^ That dude found someone's ashes in a box one. Called the cops and they told him to put them back where he found them. Most likely because that's where the person wanted to be "buried".

Pretty creepy.

Ya Mav he also found a tombstone, but it looked to have been from a pet.

A tombstone is still a very odd thing to find. Finding guns, no surprise there.

I've only seen one where he found a gun and turned it over to the cops. Cops kept it but weren't going to do anything with it. Too degraded or something like that.

Any idea if he ever found a 50 gallon drum? I'd probably stay clear of that.
