There's been a lot of music threads over the years but I'm just wondering if anyone here listens to bands/music groups/etc. from different countries that sing in a different language than their own?
I'm French but I rarely listen to French bands. Most of what I listen to is in English but I do listen to some German bands from time to time. I have no idea what they're singing about but I still find myself enjoying the music.
Anyone else?
Post up band names or videos. Might discover some new stuff and enjoy it.

French band from Quebec.
I listen to a lot of foreign bands that sing in English 95% of the time (Slovenia, Germany, Belgium). I love this band though, Icelandic.
An old song that makes me think about my dad... Fuck I miss the cunt.
The Shop
Kaleo, pretty sure they are Icelandic. They have a few songs in their native language.
Yes. I know there's a lot of bands from different countries that sing in English but if you listen to music that is sang in a different language post them up.
Back in my really hardcore days, i loved this Belgium band Zyklome A, some songs are in English some are not. Its so raw!! Makes me miss my skateboard.
Dermot Kennedy, Dublin
Thanks in advance (sounds appropriate here).
I did see Andrea Bocelle in concert recently. He sings in Italian and is hugely successful.
Sorry, for folk-metal. But I have no better option to offer from my county at the moment.
Second try, Denmark, great live band.
Pit Row
Didn't understand a single word from the first one you posted but it wasn't bad.
Russian. Coolest guitar and bass I've ever seen.
