My wife is crippled up pretty bad...spends 90% of her time in bed but she really wanted to pass her love of gardening on to our granddaughter. I built this tall raised bed so she wouldn't have to bend over. They really did good this year.

Can I have one of her thumbs if she doesn't mind. I swear I can hear the crying as I pull into the garden center... I'm not kidding Blush

Give her my best wishes please.

That's really nice. All the best to the missus too!
I dig gardening/landscaping and have been at my sister's place for nearly a week trying to clean up ridiculously overgrown gardens. It's a rental in an expensive area and this is just some of what has been done.

My wife does the landscaping ,I don't believe in growing something unless you can eat it or smoke it Laughing she does a great job except for the part where you put all the shit back when you're done . She leaves everything laying in the yard.

Mine does the same. I'll mow around the tools for a month thinking she'll get the hint. Never does.

Flowers look great. She did a hell of a job.

I have a similar issue to the above guys except my wife usually decides she wants to plant 100 flowers, takes care of them for a week and then leaves them to me to water, weed, etc. for the rest of the summer. As if I needed something else to maintain. Grinning

I bought one of those cheapy watering timers from Home Depot. Works pretty well for watering. Weeding is another story.

Lol...yep. The women at my place are gung ho in Mar/Apr but when that 100 degrees rolls around in Jul/Aug...I'm the mug keeping it alive. But I'll admit...I enjoy the color.

Thanks manSmile . The shots with the bee and butterfly are getting rare around my place. I really think that's a big part of my miserable tomato crops.
