First GoPro Bull Ride

At least I was polite warning the gate man Wednesday night. Normally, I'll tell him, "As soon as my nuts touch the back of my hand I'm going to nod".

Going to give it another shot tonight. I'll work on getting the camera set up at the right angle. Trying to change up my night settings to make it look better.

Here’s the story. My family moved from New Jersey to New Mexico in 1978, when I was nine. We lived in Corrales, NM. My Dad drank his beer at the Sandia bar in Corrales. Owner of the bar was, Steve Chavez, rode bulls. One Saturday, my Dad came and picked me up to go watch him ride bulls. Watching it, I thought, “that’s the most manly thing I’ve ever seen, I gotta do that”. They told me I had to wait until I turned 13. My father committed suicide shortly after my 13th birthday. So I never got a chance as a kid. Tried at 40 to do it but wandered away. July 4th, 2016 at 47 I decided to finally do it. Just wanted to do it once, but I discovered my real passion.
