Sounds like there may be more negotiations going on with the UFC (like we arent tired of hearing that by now) But read this over at mmanews:
"Heavyweight Kingpin Fedor Emelianenko talks to Lowkick.com more about the negotiations between him and the UFC:
"UFC is a money making machine. The most important thing for this organization is a brand and it's marketing. They have a couple of good fighters and there are also some very good champions; but they are trying to keep everyone at the same level. The most important thing for them is the promotion, not the fighters. I think that they lack a respect for their fighters. As for me, I became a thorn in their side... We are constantly negotiating, but only during recent time the Americans began to show some respect. The dialogue between us is completely different right now. They are more interested in our opinion." "

little OT, but also just saw that Jardine got dropped by the UFC, bummer deal.
"No my dad is a lot tougher than any of them."
I'm really getting tired of hearing about Fedor. M1 won't let him sign with the UFC because Dana won't let them co-promote, and why should he? So, Fedor continues fighting sub-par talent.
Fedors issue is his managers want exclusivity to his fights, and signing with the UFC would not give them that.

funny shit
Didn't Cyborg beat that other chick up before? They looked like they should be in different weight classes if it's that same chick I saw on Showtime.
Very strange.
Sylvia- Also lost to Ray Mercer and really the only reason he was UFC champ was due to his height and reach advantages and lack of competition at HW.
Big Nog- Fought in 2004 (Decision)
CroCop- Fought in 2005 (Decision)
Since CroCop, he has fought Wagner da Conceicao Martins, Mark Coleman, Mark Hunt, Matt Lindland (a true 185er), Hong Man Choi, Sylvia, Arlovski, and Brett Rogers. Hardly the topheavyweights in the world.
The loss was coming, as last night proved. Fedor is a shell of his former self, much like CroCop. PRIDE is officially dead.
