Wow, you would think that would be an easy question but I can't single any one single solo out. My taste has changed over the years but most of Tom Scholz stuff has stayed near the top. I like the emotion of SRV, Clapton, and Hendrix. Anything with Joe Walsh from the James Gang to the Eagles goes down fine. I can't believe Eddie V, Joe Satriani, Alex Lifeson and others didn't make my list.

I'm sorry, but most of randy rhode's stuff is just going up and down a scale really fast. He has some good stuff, but to me it's mostly "let's see how fast I can do this scale"

me, probably a tie between Have a Cigar, and Comfortably numb. Closely followed by Time, Young Lust, Hey Joe by Hendrix, SRV's version of Little Wing, and Blue on Black by the kenney wayne shephard band. As you can tell, I'm a HUGE David Gilmour fan, I try to base almost all of my solos off of his style. He had the perfect note in the perfect place every time. I cry on the inside a little bit every time I play the second solo, lol.

Oh, and Void Main, limelight is one of Lifeson's best, can't believe he made a whammy bar sound tasteful and beautiful.

I just remembered another one on top of my list. I have always loved Brian May's leads, any of them.

November Rain is good, but I like a good harmonica solo.

Heh heh, Brian May and David Gilmore get together and play Smoke on the Water (nice to see Gilmore on a Steinberger):

Looked a little rough in the beginning. This is funny:

I also like the EVH solo from Beat It. It fits perfect for that song. I also like Riviera Paradise- SRV lots of feeling.

Great video. I sat and watched Chuck Rainey once at NAMM in the Ken Smith booth. Jay Graydon has done so much, he is one of the best thats for sure.

Slash, "Sweet child o' mine" both for solo and best riff. November Rain is excellent also.

Recently, numerous John Mayer jams from his new live double album.
