I have always been into cover songs,, So i ran across something called "school of rock" maybe inspired by the movie. And its quite awesome to see high school kids (that rock) take on the classics.. Old music with a few flair..
Check em out..

These kids are unbelievable today. "The Pot" by Tool is a very difficult song.

I think actually the movie was inspired by this business. You can send your kid to one of the locations after school to learn musicianship. They have them all over the country and they hold an annual "battle of the bands" kind of thing.

Faith in todays youth (at least musically)have been restored to me by these young guys from Michigan. They write their own stuff and are just a throwback to real rock. 2 of them just graduated high school last year and the drummer even missed his High School Golf State Championship tournament because they had a gig. (in Great Britain,I think). Hopefully they stay on this path and stay true to their music. They have released 8 tunes so far and not a dud in the bunch.

This is all great and all, I swear I'm not trying to hate. I love when young people get into music. But the quality is so poor. So few kids are willing to put in those 10,000 hours to become masters of their trade nowadays. God bless the ones that are.

Apparently you didn't open my link and give a listen. Greta Van Fleet is going to become a powerhouse.

46 and 2 by those kids is excellent. Sounds kind of old punkish or something to me.
