Excell 2003 formula ?

Hi guys
I have = c3+c6+c9 etc. ($0.*.* , $0.*.* , $0.*.*)
But I get $0.181 instead of $1.81

April fools is over right? Those 3 added = 1.018

.40+.48+.93=1.81

Those numbers I whipped up in a hurry to get the point across
(The formula is like 25 cells added together)
But Why an I getting $0.181 cents instead of a dollar and 81 cents $1.81 ?

sounds like you keyed it wrong.

40 cents = $.40 not $.04.
