One of the things I really admire about this age of motorcycling is the degree of artistry in private-shop bike building that we see nowadays. I remember bikes like the Joe Bolger Bultacos and the Irv Kanemoto Kenny Roberts TZ750 flat tracker, and something like this comes from the same mindset. I know the business is struggling a little with the economy, but there's no inspiration recession.

The TZ flat tracker was Kel Carruthers build.
I think Erv was working for some one else at the time.

Irv put together the H2 triple Kawasaki dirt trackers that Gary Nixon, Don Castro, and Scott Brelsford rode.

That Duc is mean. Can't believe they tried to ride it on a dry slick short track. The way that bike comes on the R's, the only place you could utilize any portion of the power that thing makes is on a brushed off, rubber grooved mile, or a heavy , deep cushioned half mile.

You're right, I got 'em mixed up. They're both geniuses - and artists - in my book.

People rightly talk about what a unique genius Steve Jobs was. I'd say there are quite a few people like him out there (not to take anything away from Jobs). We're lucky to love a sport that attracts some of those guys.

Pictures don't do this bike justice. The SOUND of the thing is over the top.

Kinda off topic but this 250 Duc caught my eye over the summer. Can't remember his name right off but the guy took a lot of pride in the build and it went real good.

I would love to have an old dirt tracker like that. Beautiful machines.

He turned a $70,000 dollar piece of art into a $25,000 dollar P.O.S.
