That's a massive hit! At least the AMG GT3 is a front engine to help absorb some of the impact. Makes one think about an F1 car it that situation would be so much worse.

The crash vid has a large fireball spraying into that hospitality area.

The engine and debris are right in there to. Never saw how the driver faired or anyone else.

That is one hell of hit from a strait away type crash. Can't believe it damaged the rail that bad.

Looks like it happened just after the line? Guy in front of the pack of three slowed faster than expected, guy in the middle swerved and lost it?
