Sad day...lost my keys and Swiss Army knife while breaking in a fresh build up and down the road in front of the house. Obviously met its match with a car or truck.

I've got some sentimental knives from my grandpa, father, uncles, etc that I never carry. Some are nice, some are cheap, but all are now irreplaceable.

I have usually carried small pocket knives forever, but now that I'm back on the farm I have a knife with me at all times. Most of the time I carry a relatively cheap Kershaw lockable and a multi-tool both. I also keep several in the truck. Currently in the console holder I'm looking at 2 razor knives, 2 multi-tools, and a Kershaw.

I end up losing knives regularly or give them to my hired guys to use, so I generally just buy them at Walmart. Haven't had too many issues with the ones I buy there, but they are like disposable tools for me.

I've bought one really nice knife in my life. A Case Texas Toothpick, Caribbean Blue. Loved it, nicest one ever owned. Lost it at an outdoor wedding reception. So pissed. It was a pretty one.

Yep, that's a bummer. Unlike the guy above who hacked his arm off with his pocket knife, my son lost one of his clip on Case knives in Liberia when he was curing the Ebola. True story. As soon as the Marines arrived there, no more ebola in the news.

I like this little Kershaw but never put it in my pocket. I keep it clipped to my tool bag. It's main mission is opening the pay envelope every week. Cool

That is great looking knife. I like how it is not serrated. Kershaw is a good company for knives.

Been carrying a Benchmade mini grip for about 3 years now. Love the knife, but the years have been rough. Few nicks on the cutting edge, and the locking pin no longer glides smoothly. It's not going anywhere, but it's time to replace it as my edc. So I recently picked up an Esee Izula II. Not a fan of the coating, it'll probably be coming off soon. Otherwise it's an awesome knife. Gonna take some time to get use to carrying a fixed blade.

I was a friends house for a social gathering. I used to my pocket knife to open something and this friend of a firend pseudo elitist Liberal that was at the party with a straight (more like concerned) face asked me "why do you have that thing?" I said "to open shit".

My dad used to let me carry one of his Old Timer pocket knives until he felt like I wouldn't slice off any important extremities. Since then I've always had one in my bag, on me, or in my jeep. Always.
