Trump has damaged the fabric of America beyond belief. He has no morals. Absolutely none. I'm flabbergasted he got beyond the "grab em by the pussy" and comments on McCain and gold star families. Nothing he has done could possibly make up for his demeanor, and I disagree that he accomplished much beyond bringing down our country within and within the eyes of the world. He was a one-term President who came into an economy that was doing well. I'm not against everything related to Trump but the damage will last long beyond his time here. What's scary is now people like Greene, Gaetz, Hawley, and Boebert represent what it means to be GOP. What a shit-show.
Interesting, Whats your take on Biden?
You already know what it is. Str8line probably has a picture of bill Clinton in a blue dress hanging above his bed. Str8line probability tells all his friends that it’s the original!

So what I'm gathering from this discussion is even Trump's staunchest supporters all think he was a bit of an asshole and if he would have just kept his mouth shut a little bit things would all have been hunky dory. Also the fact that he wasn't part of any political establishment, (drain the swamp), made him attractive to voters. The one thing I don't hear being discussed by his supporters is his lack of principle as if the fact that lower gas prices and lack of inflation etc etc gives him a pass for all of the unethical and unprincipled things that he's done. You can claim he's being persecuted all you want but there's just too many things going on for it all to be BS. The CFO of the Trump organization has just pleaded guilty to 15 felony counts. Guilt by association? Perhaps. His denial of the fact that he lost the 2020 election and schemed and lied to deny it is the most blatant example of his lack of values. The Republican party has now become the party of Trump. What that means is being loyal to Trump. It's not about issues it's not about governing it's about whatever Trump says it is. It's not about policy or political philosophy it's about settling scores and grudges against whoever crossed him and purging whoever isn't obedient to his whims. As someone once said it's politics by Vendetta. Others, even some republicans, have stated reasons why he's unelectable. This does it for me. A petty vindictive narcissist is not and would not be a good leader IMO. He simply doesn't have the temperament for it. It may be acceptable to cheat your way through your taxes and life in New York City real estate circles but not as a leader of the United states.

Then you have nobody to vote for. As if your guy/gal is any different? Wow
BTW, you need to grasp the screws to the temple effect the weight of the US government has on the individuals it wants to manipulate. Not complicated

The majority of the country does not really respect, maybe a bad term, but approve of, any of our politicians. I certainly don't, "respect" the pedophile perpetually corrupt , Honorable Joseph R Biden.

I have much more " Respect" for Trump than Biden, end of that story, I'm not voting based on who I want to have a beer with, + Trump doesn't drink. I am voting based on who gets the Job done.

I could care less which guy penetrated, Tara Reide. Uncle joe did. but his policies are what concerns me, not Tara Reide. Sorry Tara, but it is what it is. I can't be alone because Biden received more votes than any President in history, So the American people really don't care about Pedophiles, Locker room talk, multiple marriages etc.

Why I support Trump vs Why I don't support Biden or Democrats.

One guy makes decisions based on what is good for the American people and the country as a whole.

A rising tide lifts all boats.

The other is worried about optics or feelings, pronouns, plays games, Special interests, power grabs, allegedly to help the little guy.

It never does and is always a giant giveaway to their powerful elitist supporters. Basically they are Fascist Global Corporatocracy scum. Biden ,Pelosi, Scumer, Harris, Nadless. AOC? You think they give two fucks about you? Bwahahaha. Raise taxes on everybody, while you create massive inflation? expand the IRS, to collect. Tax Tax Tax.

I can't believe a Country that has fought wars against Communist Socialist beliefs would even consider a Bernie Saunders Elizabeth Warren, Wang, AOC, Diblassio, etc, etc, all Democrat presidential candidates in 2020, you could go on and on. These are the mainstream Democrats and they are far left, in any cases admitted socialists.

Went to the store the other day. Boars head roast beef was 17.99 a pound. Wondering how much support the My Feelings are Hurt crowd is going to give Democrats in November.

Trump wasn’t my first choice in the primaries… as a matter of fact, when it came down to Trump against Hillary, I thought how terrible that a country of 300M people are down to those two choices.

But after he took office, it was very apparent that I was wrong not to support him in the primary. He may be a buffoon, but he was the buffoon we needed.
The more I learned about him, and what he was doing, the more I liked him.

I realized that what most people hated about him was just that NY tough guy attitude.

It says a LOT about someone’s true character when you see their children, and his are stellar.

You always hear good things about Beau Biden, but what do we really know about him? It’s sad that he died, and he probably was a good guy, but I don’t know for sure.

Hunter is well documented as a POS, and we know his daughter has problems. And we know more all the time about the Biden crime family.

I think it’s funny when people say Trump is morally corrupt, and then act like Biden is a saint. That shows how biased and blind they truly are.

In short, Trumps decisions and the way he ran our country shows a lot more that his mean teeets.

I sense some of you getting very defensive. I am questioning your cult leader. Which of you has owned Trump merch? MAGA hat? Flag? Bumper sticker? Been to a rally? What the fuck is with him and rallies nearly every other week anyways? Those should disqualify him instantly from any support from a sane person. Seriously.

As opposed to what? Honestly. We are talking US politics here, are we not?

When you have the likes of George Soros, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and others in your camp, the argument that Trump is "unethical" is seriously laughable. Imagine what would be found if half the effort to destroy Trump was put towards these people.

I'd "trust" a billionaire turned politician over the reverse every day of the week.

As I said, it should come down to policy and policy alone.

Why would holding a campaign rally or selling merchandise to raise money to fund said campaign disqualify him?

Trump merchandise ✅ political candidates/Presidents have used it forever. Walk into any souvenir shop in DC and you’ll see collectible items from across both parties being offered.
MAGA hat ❌
Flag ✅ it now hangs in my bike trailer. During the election it was on my flag pole on top the hill on my property. I was proud to support him. No different than someone with a Sanders bumper sticker or a “I’m with her” t-shirt.
Bumper sticker ❌
Been to a rally ✅✅Once as candidate and once as President. Met people from all walks of life there too. Everyone was extremely kind, polite and had nothing but love for the USA. And again, political rallies have been held going back to our founding as a country. Trump just kicked it up a notch.

Trump had 323 rallies before being elected President. He loves the adulation of his minions.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_rallies_for_the_2016_Donald_Trump…

He had over 200 rallies during his Presidency. WTF?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_post%E2%80%932016_election_Donald…

Between rallies and golf how did he have time for Fox and Friends?

He also had over 25,000 tweets just in the four years of his Presidency. Imagine how much time he wasted on social media, including reading replies. Trump can make us all feel good about ourselves and the relatively insignificant time we spend on social media.

That’s hilarious. There are so many comical and even disturbing videos of the man. The dude is so old it’s accepted by his party that he once advocated segregation while in public office. It’s all so bizarre anymore what people buy into.

Honest question from a fiscally conservative ,socially liberal ,atheist ,Canadian. In my opinion hes a snake oil salesman. It seems so obvious to me. Im absolutely so confused on how so many people actually like and respect this man. Including most of my Canadian freinds.I can understand supporting many of his policies. Is that the reason of your avid support? Does it Trump (pun intended) his assholishness? Im seriously interested in how a crook who went bankrupt several times fucking up so many people financially. A man who said John McCain was a loser and not a hero can have so much admiration.
You seem to be confusing two issues. I will vote for someone I don’t like if I think they are the best person for the job. I don’t care if I’d want to spend time with the person. Questions of integrity, etc, are absolutely relevant, but as to whether a person being an asshole would sway my judgement if I believed they were highly qualified, the answer is no.

Certainly these days the “lesser of two evils” comes into play as well. I’d have voted for Charles Manson before Hillary Clinton, quite frankly.
