Traveling to Lakewood next week with wife for a long weekend. Heading to a concert at Red Rocks Saturday but also Looking for suggestions for best places to do day hikes or possibly MTB/Ebike rentals. Winter park looks like the only place with a downhill/lift park still open that I could find and thinking about driving there for a day.

Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks guys

Keystone is closed. Winter parks final weekend is this weekend. You can rent bikes on the mtn. Check out their new run Paper boy if you do go there. https://youtu.be/UEnM21bgjqw Otherwise there’s a couple bike shops in Golden you could rent bikes for the day and hit some trails around the front range. Buffalo Creek is super fun and only about 45 min drive. If you’re near Morrison for the show, a good day hike spot is Lair o’ the Bear. You could mtb there too, but kind of crowded on the weekends. Have fun!

In Golden, Look Out Mountain has the Chimney Gultch trail that is a fun ride or hike. Look out mountain park is cool on top too. That vertical mountain across the highway from the Lakewood track looks crazy hard on the way up but the ride down looks amazing.
