It’s very good to see a live race on tv. Jimmy Johnson wadded up and he’s out of the race. At least he’s not injured.

Where the hell is Hillbilly ?

Race is kinda boring but it beats going down a youtube rabbit hole.

The empty stands look like a Xfinity series race. Not sure about Hillbilly. No doubt he is sipping some shine and watching the race.

Come on Elliott! And Tyler Reddick is having a good day on a track that often abuses rookie drivers.

11 cautions? Have we seen a green flag pit stop yet?

Fancy driving by Bower. Those plastic advertisements are causing havoc with debris.

That was certainly interesting, and quite a glimpse into what SX will look/sound like.

This Reddick kid from Corning, CA is interesting. 2 time Xfinity series winner. He didn’t do much in the early 2020 races and then finished 8th on that track today.

That was a kart drivers track. No rubber laid down from days of practice, tire wear issues. I actually enjoyed a NASCAR race for the first time in a long time.

Yelp. All the fast guys were on the wall. That race made me nostalgic for the North Wilkesboro Speedway. It was a shorter track not for the faint of heart.

Even that high line was loose. Loved watching those cars dance around. Bummed JJ went out so early. He would have been there at the end for sure. He knows those kinds of tracks well.

100% agree. Jimmy Johnson is the best NASCAR driver I’ve ever seen. And that’s controversial as h&ll. Just my opinion from watching the sport since the ‘70’s.

I remember a couple times I got to see Jimmy drive carts before NeckCar, and that dude is an absolute Picasso behind the wheel.

I felt incredibly sad for JJ missing out on the
Stage win.
Seemed like a mistake he probably wouldn’t have made a few years ago. It’s sad to see a drivers reactions/skills diminish over the years.
I guess he knows what he’s doing making this his last season

I will say his spotter sure screwed the pooch on this one ... with a half a lap to go second place gave up the fight Jimmy didn't have any reason to push at that point. Stupid.

I really hope JJ gets a win this year but I hope it comes when there are fans n the stands. The post race for Harvick was a pretty sad situation. There is no reason the crew couldn’t come out and celebrate with him. I’ll sure they did once the cameras were gone

Anyone watch the 85' Bristol Replay tonight?, What a cool time in Racing.
Those cars look identifiable, Think thats why Nascar has hit the skids as of late?

I don't have the time like I use too, so I watch the extended highlights:

Reminds me of Earnhardt Sr. Dude had more talent then any other driver, you get in his way it was Bye-Bye.

Chase Elliott is my favorite driver. Busch wrecked him from winning at Darlington and his own crew chief coat him the win last night. It was unbelievable seeing the 9 car turning down pit lane with 2 to go.

Your local speedway still carries that nostalgia.
