Cornfield Bomber

I was kind of surprised those were still in service in 1979. I basically grew up on the flight line of Hill AFB, my Dad was the Big Kahuna of Transit Alert there. Transit Alert, was tasked with taking care of any airplane regardless of what it was that was passing through and needed attention. I always thought they were kind of cool, but don't recall seeing them in the air much.
