You guys find something else to make up. They've taken the 'death panels' out of the bill.
Now grandma and grandpa will have to pay for their living will counseling sessions.

The Shop
Billions (prob trillions) are pissed away annually on unwanted long term life sustaining procedures because people don't have living wills or advance directives
Billions are wasted and lost because people don't have living wills or advance directives
Otherwise, the medicare/medicaid you're already paying for will pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to keep someone on life support, even though they're suffering, terminal and VERBALLY expressed that they didn't want to go out that way, because VERBALLY DOESN'T MEAN SHIT
Want proof?
Terri Schivo
People need it IN WRITING, a proper living will or advance directive
Need to do it while the patient is still physically and mentally capable of executing it
Otherwise, the government is going to needlessly piss away billions on unnecessary and unwanted long term terminal care that the patient doesn't want....but it's your money
Thought that was pretty obvious, but gee whiz, I guess I thought you guys were smart enough to realize that as well
Sorry
j/k
Everyone should have a living will, I'll certainly not argue that point.
No, we need that money to keep terminally ill patients alive who don't want to be kept alive but didn't have a living will....hundreds more just like you as well, just for one patient
Sorry
Pit Row
Not unreasonable
I even have a special bullet set aside just for it !
