Yes it is comedy but it points to a larger problem of people being victims. It is where he is coming from, he uses it to get approval because he knows it gets traction. The problem lies in the fact that he validates it and makes others think it is OK when in fact it does them a disservice. It's not funny.

No, it is funny. Maybe you haven't heard any comedy before. One comedic method, employed by many minority comedians (of any minority group), is to take the plight of that comedians group and exaggerate their situation in a funny way.

Most people go to a comedy show to have fun, not be taught a social lesson.

It just facilitates a victim mindset. It is comedy but it does a disservice. People are people, doesn't matter what color they are. The difference lies only in mindset. Mr. Rock seems fairly successful so I am guessing he is not too much suppressed but he makes his living in keeping the suppression alive. A similar situation is the political Left. They require a certain amount of indigence to further their agenda. They are hard at work on creating and keeping a parasitic class to the disservice of not only the recipient but the ones footing the bill and a disservice to mankind where all should be equal. It is heartbreaking.
