I saw that last week.

Good to know that the guy walked away.

Jeff Krosnoff did a similar thing in a CART race in Toronto back in '96 but caught a light post on the other side of the barrier and didn't make it. A really nice guy gone in an instant. Tragic.

I was watching that telecast Indy , you knew it was bad right away.
Jeff was one of the last American hero's who could earn a living with his right foot.

Man I remember that like it was yesterday. Really sad. I seem to remember a corner worker not making it home after that one.

Yes, a track worker died as well.

It was awful being there, and poor Adrian Fernandez got his first win, and couldn't even feel good about it or celebrate, there was such a pall cast over it all.
