Falling birds likely died from massive trauma

Something very similar happen in Louisiana also.

They said it might be caused from fireworks but that doesnt seem correct.

We have had fireworks for 100 years with no problem and now all of the sudden birds die from them?

I think the fireworks have been suggested as the reason they left their roosting spot in the middle of the night.

Wouldn't the birds sustain massive trauma when they hit the ground? If they aint flying to the ground they must be hitting it.
