Saw one in someone's garage back in the 80's ... sat there and stared at it and the other bike he had ... a late 70's Yamaha TZ750 road racer.

Yes I asked and yes he said no.

It was a good day anyway.

Back in '06 I had the pleasure of visiting the Barber Museum in Alabama, it's the only Vincent I've seen in real life as well as some other notable bikes. Here's some old pics I took with a disposable camera, the good old days ha!

Having ridden a genuine Black Lightning, Fritz Egli´s personal works Vincent race bike and even the Lambky Vincent streamliner for 10 years in a row, blowing the french Godet bikes in the weeds with my hometuned HRD 1000, I can say that the commentator on that video of Ehrets bike got a lot wrong. But nowadays this is not important anymore as people like to be entertained - no facts needed.

Having attended the Legends of the Motorcycle Concours Half Moon Bay in 2007 I was able to see and hear Rollie Free's Vincent run. They are magnificent motorcycles.
