Bastille Day Nice, France Vehicle Vs Pedestrian Attack

Looks like France possibly got hit again.
Watching live on Sky News now...
They are reporting 60 people killed (number keeps rising as they look into it more) and 100 injured.
They say it was a "Lorry Truck" attack...basically driving along and mowing down crowds of people.

a friend of mine who lives in Nice put a warning up an hour ago on facebook to stay away from the Nice promenade, due to an attack

Im not going to post it but there's a horrific video on Twitter showing the aftermath. Bodies strewn all along the road, it's like some sort of horror movie.

They (Sky News) just confirmed the attack is linked to the Islamic State.
Edit: Now they are back-pedaling saying it's not 100% confirmed that it was directly ISIS.
Only that ISIS are celebrating on social media.

Newest tally - 77 victims dead.

They are now reporting grenades were also found in the truck along with other things.

I believe the steps that Europe takes in response to this shit are the ones we will end up taking in the future.

Unfortunately they have found a new way to create mass casualties without bombs or rifles.

It's not an issue of "you don't have to agree", you put it out there so you should expect comments.
My comment is that you are justifying something today with ideology from (actually many more) what
you say is a "few hundred years" ago. You did that by making the comparison. The inference is that
"a few hundred years ago" Christianity was used as a tool to manipulate people to go kill others that
didn't believe. You wrote,
