Probably picking up a 6x12 soon, it will be loaded overnight at hotels now and then. Im thinking a barn door set up is less of a give away that rolling machines are inside, so I wouldn't mind the inconvenience of not having the ramp. Unless the barn doors are easier for thieves to defeat?

Ramp door is fine. Your choice of locks will be the best theft deterrent. There are some pretty good trailer locks out there. They can be a little more expensive, but worth it.

Ramp door for sure.

I always chain my bikes together when they are in the trailer, and that same chain goes thru steel loops on the floor. Its not fool proof but they will hafta work for it and it will take time.

Most thief's target the trailer and not necessarily what's inside so get the ramp door because its a way better deal for moto.

I saw somebody in one of trailer threads a while back put sewer repair logos on his moto hauler. Are puck locks the way to go ?

I like the barn doors, you can always close the side the wind was coming from while you're sitting in between moto's. It's not a big deal to pickup the bikes to put them in either.

Hydraulic ramp door no lock needed just be sure to cut the power it’s also noisy like an alarm. And for shade or wind protection get a cheap awning on either side so you can sit where it’s best at each location no mater what way you park.
