Maybe new interiors, but the fleet is made up of second and third hand MD-80's...regarded as a maintenance hog and not fuel efficient.

I have flew a few times with them and never had any trouble.

They used to fly non stop to vegas from my town and the stewards would get everyone on board to put a buck or two in a pot and they would pull out a number and the winner took all. I always thought of them as thinking outside the box of your normal airline company.

my girlfriend flew with them for 3 trips to Santa Maria and had the worst experience on 5 of the six flights. Then when i called the airline to complain about it they declined to give me any sort of credit or complimentary anything. So my girlfriend and i will not fly with them any more.

They have posted quarterly profits consistently for some time now with that dog of a plane they have. Its my understanding they own their aircraft and that they don't finance their aircraft or engines.

It's an interesting company. They don't fly much on the weekends (mainly charters on Sat and Tuesday) and 98% of the crew lines begin and end IN BASE daily! You could work 17 days a month, sleep in your own bed even when you do work, and they pay 130% over 70 hours a month.

$4 million for the used 9's instead of $45+ that everyone else is paying for new 737's and A320's. Sounds smart if you can make it work.

Not a bad deal. If you lived in one of their bases it could be a dream job.
