You really think they would go through all this, and risk a serious shit storm of really really bad PR not to mention maybe exposure to possible legal action for wrongful something remaining to be determined, for personal letters?

I have no idea what documents Trump took from the White House. In my mind, it really doesn't matter. The truth is, it isn't allowed. He KNEW it isn't allowed. He did it anyway. This is just indicative of his character.

They didn't create document security rules just to go after Trump. They've been in place for a long time.

If what he took was only correspondence of a personal nature...there is a procedure for retaining those items. It's not a stupid rule.

If this were the case, than it sure seems to be a very shall we say skewed line? They could easily have sent a small team quietly to retrieve documents, and I am not talking about trump alerting everyone with social media. I am talking about the cars with flashing lights outside of his home. That was a spectacal from the start. IF it was all about the documents then why wasn’t Hillary treated in the same manor? So the Donald has the “documents” in his home which is basically a fortress but Hillary had them on a personal email account that ANYONE can hack. Sorry bud, I understand what you have been saying but it is taking on water.

I won't address the Clinton situation because I didn't follow it and any comment would just make my ignorance more obvious.

This is just a guess and I'm saying that up front so you'll know it for what it is. I highly doubt that the feds had not contacted Trump numerous times about return or retrieval of the documents. I don't think he answered the door and said, "Documents?...first I've heard anything about it".

One other thing, the search warrant doesn’t mean shit to be “opened” what really holds the truth is the affidavit from the FBI to the AG. That has the real information as to WHY they are going to his home.

The issue here is Trump has to flush the toilet 10-15 times to get rid of documents. He talked about this during his presidency and not being able to wash even his tiny hands, and it turns out he was right! If it weren't for the greenies those 20 boxes of top secret documents they just found would have been flushed away.
