Were they looking for tax-evasion related evidence or was it about that one time he sent a mob over to the Capitol? It gets difficult to follow all of the investigations and indictments related to Trump and his circle.

Sounds like they executed a valid search warrant. To be honest, I hope that their argument and evidence to obtain the warrant was ironclad. I’m certainly no fan of Trump, but I don’t want to empower any ‘side’ of targeting political rivals without overwhelming evidence of wrongdoing.

My hunch is that one of Trumps top associates flipped on Trump. My hunch is it is most likely, Mark Meadows.

More importantly, Trump said that the FBI raided his safe. The FBI would need probable cause that it contained evidence of criminal activity. A Federal Judge signed off on allowing the FBI to go into very specific places within the residence, ie the safe. Only with a solid amount of evidence could the FBI obtain this kind of a warrant. If my hunch is correct, Meadows told the FBI Trump had documents in his safe that he should not have.

Hell, we've had globalist tool Attorney General Merrick Garland directing the FBI to target parents that speak out at School Board meetings against vaxx and mask mandates as well as pushed back against far left racial and gender theories being pushed on their kids. Looks like the socialists are pretty comfortable with using the FBI to advance political agendas.
