Just finished up P3.
"I'm just a little bit all over the place"
George Russell.
🤣😂🤣
Seb's having a rough weekend.
The FIA have also banned parallel driving during safety car restarts.
Article 55.14: "In order to avoid the likelihood of accidents before the safety car returns to the pits, from the point at which the lights on the car are turned out drivers must proceed at a pace which involved no erratic acceleration or braking nor any manoeuvre which is likely to endanger other drivers or impede the restart"
I don't remember that being a problem in the past.
I'm not sure about that.
The car, and his driving, will be hard to beat this year.
Hopefully.
This sucks for Red Bull.
46pts. behind and 20 rounds to go.
I just now watched the Aussie GP. Any word yet on Verstappen’s engine failure?
Pit Row
What about Mercedes? I'm thinking not this year.
And Mercedes definitely looks to be gaining lost ground.
Dammit.
I think you watched Melbourne 1998, not 2022
Lol
I also think Mercedes will be battling at the front by the end of the year, however by the time they sort out their car, i think both championships will be out of reach
it would be great to see 3 or even 4 teams capable of winning each weekend.
But i think we need to remember Melbourne has always been a bit of an anomaly when it comes to car performance, so i dont think we can read too much into the form changes.
Mercedes didnt bring any upgrades here at all, I am not sure about Mclaren
He immediately said he wasn't coming on board to play second fiddle to Vettel.
Russell has paid his dues wallowing in the Williams paddock.
Now it's time for him to shine.
Not play the role of wingman.
wow... huge surprise there. dude needs to find a new hobby to spend all daddy's money on
Loved it!
FP1 and Qualifying tomorrow morning.
FP2 and Sprint race Saturday morning
Race Sunday.
With only 1 practice before heading into qualifying and some teams struggling with their cars, it could be a disaster for some of them if they don't nail their setup from the get-go.
Seems like the old books are all but useless.
Maybe someone makes a move up this weekend.
I'll be at Hallett for a SCCA "Major", so not sure how much I'll see of the F1 weekend until I get back.
