Ok so the scuttlebutt about Seb to Merc is a lot of nonsense but the real lunacy is that the FIA is putting together a "Snitch" line !! The article is out there, some BS about ethics and sportsmanship bla bla bla ...

Gee I can't think of anyway humanly possible this is a bad idea !! Whistling

The "snitch" can remain anonymous even furthering the farcical load of crap idea this is.

It might be slow, but that is a damn good looking race car IMO.
I hope Williams can be a bit more competitive this year. The sport is better with Williams being a solid team

During this time of no racing I have caught up on some vintage seasons. 88 season is amazing. Almost all older races are on YouTube. Check out Germany late 80’s early 90s. Talk about a fast racetrack. Senna and Prost hand to hand combat in 88.

^^ Why does Indycar have the windscreen in the halo?? Seems like a pain when oil/coolant etc. would get on it and limit visibility. Also being curved, would you get some distortion in the view?

I couldn't tell you. I just know the car looks great.

I don't follow IndyCar, so maybe someone on here that does has that answer. If I remember correctly there was talk of bringing the windscreen to F1.

I don’t watch Indy car at all to be honest, but I am an Alonso fan to some degree, I certainly enjoy following his post f1 career.
So can anyone tell me if his Indy team is competitive? Does he have a shot at the Indy 500?

Alonzo himself is competitive as always. IndyCar being a spec chassis series the only difference is the engines and approved aerodynamics. The cars very much look the same. McLaren made a half-assed attempt at Indy last year and couldn't qualify. It was quite embarrassing. This year they claim they have committed fully to the Indycar series. We shall see.

Seb came out and said Ferrari did not even put an offer on the table for him, they were over it (and i believe he was as well) Good riddance Scuda.

Leclerc has come out and said they will 99% struggle way worse than last year. I guess the car really is shit? Dizzy

Well once again it's a Mercedes show and no one's within a half second of them. Red Bull and McLaren may put on a show for the remaining Podium spot but that's about it. Ferrari 10th and 11th fastest and Haas disappointing as usual. Some racing better than no racing I suppose so the battle for the middle of the pack might be fun to watch. Happy Fourth of July.
