this one really pissed me off, so TWO years of pointless races (if we even get to the races this year...who knows when that will happen now)

For anyone that needs to watch some racing this weekend here you go . Looks like some of the F1 drivers are already signed up, should be a blast to watch.

Wow...just wow. The whole way this has been handled by the FIA from the jump has been piss poor.

Then again, there is the post above mine, good on the manufactures. 👍

There is also this one, (it was posted before the above one i believe, why it mentions '22 not '23)

F1 teams banned from developing 2022 cars this year

In addition to delaying Formula One's next major rule change to 2022, motor racing's governing body, the FIA, has banned all aerodynamic development of those cars until the end of this year.

F1 was planning to herald a new era of racing in 2021 with heavily revised technical regulations aimed at encouraging wheel-to-wheel action and making the sport more competitive. However, the impact of the coronavirus -- both financial and in terms of postponed races -- means the rules have now been pushed back to 2022, with the teams looking to restrict spending as much as possible during the hiatus to protect their finances.

I know Hamilton has the media and younger generation under his thumb but wow what a difference between him and Valteri!
Bottas has shown he can win in that car on many Sunday mornings. And what a let down Ricciardo has been in the Renault still to command 20 mil? I think Valteri should be just as high if not higher than Ricciardo right now.

What did you expect Riccardo to do in the Renault?
He beat a very good team mate in Hulkenburg, I don’t think you can expect much more really?

Renault were a massive disappointment last year, they made a bad car, the drivers did their part.

Renault should be at the front of the midfield

Deegan is already doing it, has a "Pro" class for known riders and a class for the gamers, it was pretty damn cool last Saturday night.

I heard of the Netflix show and put it on the other day...Holy smokes I binged both seasons and now I'm going back to watch old races on YouTube and waiting and hoping the season starts soon Grinning

Right on man! It’s a whole different playing field they are playing on. I hope the budget cuts don’t ruin some of the advances they make. They are talking about bringing it to $150 million hard cap on teams.
