Thank you to anyone who responds in advance. I am new to riding at age 45 since not having been on a bike since I was 11. Remember Hodaka's? I need advice on the Gaerne G-react versus the Alpinestar Tech 7's. Just going to be trailriding and in the process of building an older man's track on thirty acres. Easy type riding with a few jumps.

gaerne sg 12 will last you your whole life...but if you want a cheap boot go with tech 7

Tech 7's are a great boot!, SG12's WILL last an eternity but in between there is the Sidi Crossfires - awesome comfort and not much more than the Tech 7's!!! Good luck... Smile

heck if i was you i would even go with the sg10 its a great boot thats safe and really comfortable. you will be very happy with it
