Hey everyone, not a new rider but need some other people's opinions about this. So I'm looking into buying myself a new bike. Stuck between whether to get a 4 stroke or 2 stroke. I currently ride a yz125 and love it, but I just need something with a little more power. I race the jdayoffroad series, but I also really enjoy going to practice tracks and doing some motocross races here and there. Just want a bike that can pretty much do anything. I fell like i'd like the 4 stroke more on motocross tracks, but i'd like the 2 stroke more in the woods. That's why I'm so torn between the two. Thanks for reading.

A two stroke will suit you better in your riding pursuits it seems. I know the flywheel weight thing is beaten like a dead horse but if the two stroke is too much at first its a simple cost effective way to take the edge off of the power. If I rode 75% off road thats what I'd do.
