do you mean YZ-250 and YZF-250? the YZ is a 2 stroke, the YZF is a 4 stroke. Big difference.

It depends what kind of riding are you going to be doing? If your just riding the track sometimes and trails I would get the yz 250 2 stroke it will save you a lot of money 4 strokes at not cheap to rebuild.

4 strokes have a habit of going right for the soul every time something needs to be fixed .

Thanks for the input guys. I've decided to go 2 stroke. Ktm 250sx as I can get it for a killer price. They're cheap, easy to fix, easy to maintain, and fun.
