Try Craigslist. Being in CA as well and having been looking at 2006 and newer (better forks than the 05) YZ250s for a few weeks, I can tell you there are quite a few.

I will sell you mine. 2010 250. FMF Factory Fatty pipe and shorty silencer. Black excell rims. Holeshot device. SDG tall seat. V Force reeds. Comes with all the stock stuff plus some more aftermarket.

it would be nice to but that, probaly asking a little much and your not in CA which makes it hard

FYI anything from 2006 onward is the same bike (2007 got wave rotors maybe?). You can't go wrong with any of those years.

The shock changed in 06 as well. Definitely get the 06 and up....way better suspension.

I was in Chaparral Motorsports last Saturday and they had a barely ridden '07 with a Fatty and some other stuff for .... I think they were asking $ 3300 or 3400. Don't know anything more about it except they claimed it was never ridden much by the owner. Call them and see if they still have it.

I own two 2009's. As much as I wanna get a 4 stroke just to change things up, I can't bring myself to selling one. I literally have had to put no money into these bikes in 2 years of riding aside from normal wear and tear. I owned an 02 and 06 previously.
