Did Villo even care on the podium???

Just watched the broadcast on Speed - AWESOME second moto!

But RV didn't even try to act natural or discreet while reading off his sponsers. You could tell he was frustrated, but that was one of the worst I've seen from him.

Strange Dungey seems to have the speed then Reedy finds another gear, That dnf kills him. Chad Reed is a stallion.

Listen to the podcast again...I believe he was trying to shit his pants. In fact, it sounded like he partially succeeded.

Best speech ever. He got smoked said the others flew.

He told it like it was and so did Dungey and so did reed.

This is the year no one rolls over for Ricky and fuck the speeches.

I'm glad someone else started this thread... 'cause I didn't want to be the one to... but was going to anyway!

RV2 has horrible podium speeches and all he does is read the sponser cards someone is holding in front of him.

Hey Guy, how about getting a pic of it the next time he's reading them off???

Really enjoyed Dungey's podium speech. Great analysis and great attitude.

Yeah....he said his stomach hurt.....but he also said he couldn't find his lines worth shit. He didn't do to bad...even though1 - 2 gapped him.....he didn't lose any points to Reed and gained two on RD. He looked a little frustrated....but I'd say it was a good day.

I thought RV's interview was funny as shit. I could tell he wanted to go inot more detail. The bench racing version is probably hilarious.

He probably would have finished better if he had had a little Dickin's Cider before the race.

guys on here are trying way to hard to be funny, and it is not working.

Anyway, throwing out the "stomach ache" right off the bat sounded odd, it made it look like he was making excuses after getting beat pretty handily in moto two.

I was in the staging area behind the gate on the hill. Jmo and I was standing there when Villi came off the track from the second moto. Instead of heading to the podium he immediately went to the Porta-johns, Yank his helmet off in a hurry and went in there for atleast 10 minutes before he finally came out. It got very very humid about the halfway mark of his moto. Not sure if he had a stomach issue or just got sick but he looked very pale when he came out and made his way to the podium for what it's worth.

RV was as sick as a dog after the second moto, as was Windham. He was having stomach issues, went back to the rig for a minute, and then came back down on the team mule. Give the guy a break! he got beat, he got sick, and he still came back to the odium to face the music.

Windham wanted to leave immediately but knew it was his last race and wanted to say thanks for the support from all the fans (and there was a bunch there!)

Most sound like a speech that's been read over and over and over and over again.

What are the expectations after 35 minutes of putting their bodies thru the toughest sport on earth in 95 to 100 degree temps? Most people won't even go outside when it's that hot let alone ride two 35 minute motos and some of us expect them to sound like they're master debaters. Wait, that doesn't sound right.

If you aspire to be at the top of the sport, podium etiquette is required.

I agree that RV, and others, need to work on that with the same drive that is needed for excellence in other areas of Pro Moto.

Maybe next year we can have some kind of scroll across the bottom of the screen that lists a guy's sponsors so they don't have to say them out loud and can just talk about the race.... Its been brought up he before and it's an interesting idea. Not sure how it would go over but it's with a run up the flag pole.
