It would make mx more interesting from an international standpoint. The USA has so much talent in the amateurs coming up the next 8 to 10 years I cannot wait to see how the sport does. I wish somehow it would go mainstream.

i'm as west coast english as you yanks are....and i hate canadian anything that pertains to motocross! i wouldn't go across the the street to see a canadian national even if the monster chopper offered to pick me up!! i'm happy canada isn't going....it;s a conspirisy that they aren't....so fuck that theory.

i'd just for once just love to see the big wheel get smoked....is that wrong? i've watched the youtube vids of this kid reinventing the wheel on how to rail sand sections both moist and dry....and it's the best skill i've ever seen. i just think it'd be great to see him put it to the "gods of mx"....so what? i live for us. nats.....but i want to see shit shook up....who cares?

The odds are certainly in his favor that he will kick the entire world's ass on that track.

The odds are also that at the end of the day, it won't mean shit.

I think only Dungey falls within the age range for MX2.

I agree. I hate Americans. Big houses, big trucks, big attitudes.......always going for a swim in their money pools.........I know, I just sound bitter about the way things turned out for me..........

Spot on.

However, this board will light up like its A1 if USA loses. That will be the only difference.

Ahhhh.....no matter what happens over there....it's going to be some great racing. The track will be brutal and there won't be 1 rider out there that won't have his work cut out for them. Had a blast last year getting up in the middle of the night , making some coffee and watching the races until the sun came up.......some great racing.

I want to see our guys obliterate Herlings, like all the rest of the riders out there. I have a feeling they will find him very competitive however.
May the best man win.

Lommel probably has the highest attrition rate of any track I can think of, unfortunately I think this could play a major part in this years results.

I also think back markers could be real problem, especially during the qualifying races. Kuwait could hardly get around Saint Jean d'Angely last year so god knows how they'll manage if they turn up in Belgium.

I hope USA wins the overall, but I'd love to see Herrlings put on a show and destroy everyone by a minute + both motos.

Canadian MX is so shitty they're not even fielding a team. Pretty pathetic when you see some of the 3rd world countries that show up.

Its a real shame when Canada could field a decent team every year.

3 Americans, including 2 national champions will allways be trouble, no matter which track your at, and no matter who you are.

Having said that, I think Herlings is still the favourite to win his motos, coming off a MX2 world title, and his display at Leirop will have him set up perfectly for Lommel.

This mxdn could be a classic, I hope there is some great racing what ever happens.

Not exactly at all. Roczen and Musquin came over here to our turf, we are going over to Belgium to a track unlike what our guys are used to. The tables are turned and it just so happens that Herlings is pretty good in the sand. I expect the USA to win, but will be surprised if Herlings loses a moto.
